ORISSA : FIRST STATE TO EXTEND LOCKDOWN IN INDIA

Yesterday, the Odisha government extended the first lockdown period on April 5th. Orissa became the first state in India to make this decision. Chief Minister Naveen Pattanayak told a press conference, "Coronavirus is the biggest terror of the century that mankind has not encountered before. Life will never be the same We all must understand it and face it boldly. With our sacrifice and the blessing of Lord Jagannath we will one day be free from this danger. ”
He asked the center not to start train and airline services until April 30 in a statement. All educational institutions will be closed until June 5th. The food related activities of the people of agriculture, livestock farming etc. will continue in accordance with social distress. Freight transportation is allowed.
So far in Odisha, at least 12 people have suffered coronas and two have died.
