News20 Media Desk: Under the direction and sincere cooperation of Trinamool Congress All India General Secretary and Hon'ble MP Shri Abhishek Bandyopadhyay and Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha Constituency Trinamool Congress Social Media Cell Co-ordinator and General Secretary of Maheshtala Town Trinamool Youth Congress, Joy Mandal , an attempt has been made to deliver cooked food to the water-logged people at home. Initially, food was to be delivered to 500 people every day for 3 days, but food was delivered to 511 people on the 1st day, 556 people on the 2nd day and 618 people on the 3rd day. Then in the interest of the people, the term of this community kitchen was extended for another day On the 4th and last day, the Trinamool Youth Congress soldiers distributed lunch to 700 people. Joy Mandal said there are plans to set up another community kitchen once the rains subside tomorrow. In addition, Dry Food has already been arranged considering the people need. He said that the only inspiration for their great work was this effort with the help of MP Shri Abhishek Banerjee. He said that their humanitarian efforts will continue to rise above politics in the future
তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের সর্বভারতীয় সাধারণ সম্পাদক তথা মাননীয় সাংসদ শ্রী অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের নির্দেশে ও আন্তরিক সহযোগিতায় এবং ডাঃহাঃ লোকসভা কেন্দ্র তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া সেলের কো-অর্ডিনেটর তথা মহেশতলা টাউন তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেসের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ও ১৩ নং ওয়ার্ডের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত শ্রী জয় মন্ডলের উদ্যোগে গত ২২শে জুন থেকে সংশ্লিষ্ট ওয়ার্ডের জলবন্দি মানুষজনকে দুপুরে রান্না করা খাবার বাড়ি বাড়ি পৌঁছে দেওয়ার এক প্রয়াস নেওয়া হয়েছে৷ প্রাথমিকভাবে ৩ দিন প্রত্যহ ৫০০ জন করে মানুষকে খাবার পৌঁছে দেওয়ার কথা থাকলেও ১ম দিন ৫১১ জন, ২য় দিন ৫৬৬ জন ও ৩য় দিন ৬১৮ জনের কাছে খাবার পৌঁছে দেওয়া হয়৷ এরপর মানুষের স্বার্থে এই কমিউনিটি কিচেনের মেয়াদ আরও একদিন বাড়ানো হয়৷ ৪র্থ তথা শেষ দিনে ৭০০ জনের কাছে দুপুরের খাবার পৌঁছে দেয় তৃণমূল যুব কংগ্রেস সৈনিকরা৷ আগামীদিনে বৃষ্টির পরিমাণ বাড়লে আরও একবার এই কমিউনিটি কিচেন করার পরিকল্পনা আছে বলে জানান জয় মন্ডল৷ এছাড়াও ইতিমধ্যেই মানুষের কথা বিবেচনা করে Dry Food- এর ব্যবস্হাও করে রাখা হয়েছে৷ তিনি জানান, তাদের এই মহৎ কাজের একমাত্র অনুপ্রেরণা সাংসদ শ্রী অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় এবং তাঁরই সহযোগিতায় এই প্রয়াস৷ আগামীদিনে রাজনীতির ঊর্দ্ধে উঠে তাদের এই মানবিক প্রয়াস চলবে বলে জানান তিনি৷
