Sources said that New Delhi had already clashed with the Donald Trump administration over issues like sending drugs in the wake of the Corona war. This time, the report of the US-appointed International Religious Freedom Commission (USCIRF) made Narendra Modi uneasy again. The commission has directly accused the Indian government of fueling atrocities against minorities.
