Last Saturday, Air India started booking on 4th May. Obviously everyone has a question about lockdown but is going up? Replying to a question, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, "No decision has been taken yet on domestic or international flights." The airlines will start booking only after the government decides.
The second round of lockdown ends on May 3rd, as per the directive of the Prime Minister. But judging by the situation in India, the decision is yet to be made on whether to operate a train or a plane after that, sources said.
According to Air India sources, they want to launch domestic flights from May 4 and international flights from June 1.
It gave rise to a question among people that does it mean lock down will be removed after 3rd may but government has not given any clear answer.
